WRESTLING IN TURKIC PEOPLES FROM A SOCIO-CULTURAL PERSPECTIVE

This monograph will address the following questions: “What was the perspective of Turkic peoples on wrestling branch of sports and what was the cultural aspect of wrestling for social structures and lifestyles of Turkic peoples? What type of a transformation did wrestle experience? What is its current state at national level?” Problem: The problem of this research pertains to the fact that the richness of traditional wrestling which is known to possess a deep-seated reputation in Turkish history of sports and occupy an affluent position in Turkish sports tradition is not well-reflected in the literature at national and international . . . levels, its traditional cultural elements are lost along with globalization and it is likely to end up being almost erased from national memories. Objective: This modest study sought to find an answer to the question as to how Turkic peoples perceived traditional wrestling in religious, national, political, military, economic and social domains of life and aimed to incorporate the finding into the literature rightly. Methodology: From among qualitative research methods, descriptive and comparative research techniques were implemented in this study. Result: It was deduced that wrestling which was one of the primary activities in socio-cultural structures and lifestyles of ancient Turkic peoples was viewed as a social value and even as a social norm beyond being just a branch of sports, possessed embedded and rich rituals, but began to lose its meaning along with the disappearance of most of these rituals, and even if it was affected adversely by globalization, there still existed affection towards wrestling and the wrestler. ЭФФЕКТИВНОСТЬ МЕТОДИКИ ИСПОЛЬЗОВАНИЯ ЭТНИЧЕСКИХ ИГР ДЛЯ УЛУЧШЕНИЯ ПОКАЗАТЕЛЕЙ СЕРДЕЧНО-СОСУДИСТОЙ СИСТЕМЫ В УСЛОВИЯХ СРЕДНЕГОРЬЯ КЫРГЫЗСТАНА (ВОЗРАСТНОЙ ПЕРИОД 50–55 ЛЕТ)

В статье представлены результаты проведенного впервые в Кыргызстане экспериментального исследования эффективности использования этнических игр кыргызов для улучшения показателей сердечно-сосудистой системы у жителей предпенсионного возраста (50-55 лет в условиях среднегорья). Обследованы 45 человек данной возрастной категории. В первую группу респондентов входят люди, регулярно занимающиеся этническими подвижными играми, во вторую группу - занимающиеся современными видами физической культуры. Использованы методы анализа научно-методической литературы, метод Короткова, пульсоксиметрия, проба Мартине-Кушелевского, математико-статистич . . .еские методы. Полученные в ходе экспериментального исследования сравнительные результаты показали эффективность методики использования этнических подвижных игр кыргызов для улучшения показателей сердечно-сосудистой системы в возрастном периоде 50-55 лет в условиях среднегорья Кыргызстана. Так, к примеру, полученные в ходе 2-го обследования данные группы с использованием этнических игр, а также результаты группы с использованием средств современной физической культуры выше результатов 1-го проведенного обследования. Колебания частоты сердечных сокращений при 2-м обследовании в первой группе и в группе с использованием современных средств физической культуры (СФК) в гендерном разделении достоверно ниже, в среднем частота сердечных сокращений (ЧСС) равна 70 уд/мин по сравнению с данными 1-го обследования (у мужчин в среднем ЧСС - 78,0 уд/мин, а у женщин - 84 уд/мин). В состоянии покоя разброс показателей по частоте сердечных сокращений и насыщение кислородом имеют достоверные различия по полу и возрасту. Пробы с дозированной мышечной нагрузкой при 2-м обследовании в первой группе и в группе СФК указывают на увеличение разброса показателей частоты сердечных сокращений после нагрузки в среднем на 25,5-27 уд/мин (35,4-37%). Время восстановления ЧСС происходит на 3-й минуте, где наблюдается нормотонический тип реакции, что свидетельствует о хорошей приспособляемости организма к физической нагрузке More less

Investigating stress levels and stress coping strategies in judo athletes = Изучение уровней стресса и стратегий его преодоления у спортсменов в дзюдо

This study seeks to determine how stress coping strategies of judo athletes are shaped by the sport they practice. The study uses the screening method and is descriptive and deductive in nature. The study was carried out in 2022 and involved 134 competing judo athletes based in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, who volunteered to participate. To collect empirical data, the authors used a demographic information form and the 'Inventory of strategies for coping with stress in sports's cale. The collected data were processed with SPSS 25.0 statistical software. Other procedures included the Student's /-test for pairwise comparisonsu-sing the collec . . .ted data, the ANOVA test for multiple pairwise comparisons, and the Tukey's multiple comparison test for deciphering significant differences between the groups. Regarding the gender variable, there was a significant difference between male and female athletes in how high they scored on the subscales of mental imagery, venting of unpleasant emotions, and mental distraction. On average, male athletesscored higher than women on the logical analysis and disengagement subscales depending on their athlete level and their status of (not) being a member of the national team. There were also significant differences in the participants’ scores on: the subscales of support seeking, logical analysis and disengagement depending on their competitive level; the subscales of thought control, mental imagery, effort expenditure and support seeking depending on the age variable; the subsca le of mental imagerydepending on the competitive experience variable. THE NATIONAL ENTERTAINMENTS AND GAMES OF THE KYRGYZ PEOPLE IN THE LATE 19TH CENTURY AND EARLY 20TH CENTURY

This study tries to trace the cultural elements that the Kyrgyz people's national entertainments and games played in Kyrgyzstan embodied in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and to determine their place in social structure and life. Importance: Traditional games performed in the national entertainments also serve as a cultural representation. Symbols, ceremonies and rituals that bring people together not only strengthen bonds between individuals in a society and provide social integration, but also keep the society alive by helping the society to maintain its traditions through sports tradition, and make value judgements and m . . .orals take root. Understanding the Kyrgyz people's national entertainments and traditional sports games undoubtedly shed light on other aspects of the social life of the Kyrgyz people and even other Turkestan peoples. Objective: It is aimed to define Kyrgyz national festivals and the traditional games performed in Kyrgyzstan; to define some social-cultural institutions, national and religious elements taking part in the form and intellectual elements of the games held in festival events; to explain important cultural elements that were changed or transformed, lost and about to disappear. Method: Descriptive research and comparison model, which is one of the patterns in the qualitative approach, was used in a chronological framework limited to the late 19th century and early 20th century. Conclusion: Kyrgyz national festivals took part in every stage of their social structure and life such as politics, religion, economy, family and etc. and the traditional games, whose performance in these activities is an ancient tradition, were performed intensively during the period of the study as well. Bu monografi, Türkistan coğrafyasında homojen bir kültüre sahip olan Kazak, Kırgız, Özbek ve Uygurlar tarafından yapılmış, günümüzde ise unutulmaya yüz tutmuş, geleneksel atlı spor oyunlarından “At-Omıraulastıru” incelenecektir. At-Omıravlastıru, iki binicinin dizginlerle yönlendirmesi dışında bir müdahaleleri olmadan, atlarının göğsü veya kalçaları ile birbirini 10-15 metrelik daire dışına çıkarmak mücadelesiyle yapılan bir atlı oyundur. Çalışmada, spor dünyasında ve literatüründe bilinmeyen “at-omıravlastıru” yarışı; etimolojisi ve terminolojisi, lehçe ve ağız farklılıklarıyla açıklamak; oyunun dünü ve bugününü irdeleyip, Türk spo . . .r geleneğindeki yerini görebilmek; kural ve kaidelerini belirtip, Türk ve dünya spor literatürüne kazandırmaktır. Türkistan’ın en popüler atlı oyunu olan ‘kök-börü’ ile siyimboz bir ilişki içinde olduğu ve onun için rezerv görevi üstlenip altyapısı niteliğini taşıdığı anlaşılmıştır. Struggle of horses, without any intervention other than the two riders' reins, it is an equestrian game where horses struggle to get each other out of the 10-15-meter circle with their chest or hips. In the study, struggle of horses race, which is unknown in the sports world and literature; to explain its etymology and terminology with dialect differences; examining the past and present of the game and seeing its place in the Turkish sports tradition; to determine the rules and rules and to add them to Turkish and world sports literature. Descriptive research and comparison model, one of the designs included in the qualitative approach, was used in the study. The research covers mainly Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Uzbek and Uyghurs from Turkistan peoples. Sports Education in Turkish Higher Education within European Qualifications Framework = Avrupa Yeterlilikler Çerçevesi Kapsamında Türkiye Yükseköğretiminde Spor Eğitimi

Sports sciences and sports education are applied in various scientific disciplines of Turkish higher education. Sport Sciences are applied in many universities in Europe to sports education students in higher education and to students in other departments for to meet social needs. In this regard, restructuring sports education is a new requirement in Turkey in terms of European sports education cooperation and developments. The aim of this study is to examine European Higher Education Qualities and Turkey's Higher Education Sports Education Process for to set forth an understanding regarding mission and vision in the forthcoming yea . . .rs. ISCED, EASM, and AEHESIS sports education models and European Union education process are analyzed within the scope of the research. Eventually, Turkey is in a restructuring process in terms of physical education and sports education in higher education, Bologna process and qualities. Within the scope of this regulation, anew sports education and basic field qualifications curricula should be updated by considering determination of basic fields. Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TYÇÇ) basic field qualifications that are formed based on the ISCED concerning Coaching Education, Sports Management and Recreation Departments should be reclassified. Spor bilimleri ve spor eğitimi, Türk yükseköğretimini çeşitli bilimsel disiplinlerinde uygulanmaktadır. Avrupa'da birçok üniversitede Spor Bilimleri, toplumsal ihtiyaçları karşılamayı yükseköğretimde spor eğitimi öğrencileri ve diğer bölüm öğrencileri için uygulanır. Bu bağlamda, Avrupa spor eğitim işbirliği ve gelişmeler için, spor eğitiminin yeniden yapılanması Türkiye'de yeni bir gerekliliktir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, önümüzdeki yıllarda misyon ve vizyonu hakkında bir anlayış sağlamak üzere Avrupa Yüksek Öğretim Nitelikleri ile Türkiye'nin Yükseköğretim Spor Eğitim sürecini incelemektir. Çalışma içerisinde, ISCED, EASM, AEHESIS spor eğitim modelleri ve Avrupa Birliği eğitim süreci incelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, Türkiye'de beden eğitimi ve yükseköğretimde spor eğitimi, Bologna süreci ve nitelikler çerçevesinde yeniden yapılanma içindedir. Bu düzenlemede, temel alanların belirlenmesi dikkate alınarak yeniden spor eğitimi, temel alan yeterlilikleri müfredatı güncellenmelidir. Study of the individual innovative level of teachers of different directions of disciplines

The purpose of the research is to determine the features of the formation of the individual innovative level of teachers in different directions of disciplines.Methods and organization of research. The survey method was used in this study. This study is descriptive and inferential in nature. The study involved teachers working in various secondary schools subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. The study was formed based on voluntary participation criteria. A researcher-prepared questionnaire with demographic information and the Individual Innovativeness Scale were used for data collection in th . . .is study. The data obtained were processed using the statistical program SPSS 26.0. Descriptive statistics, a T-test for independent groups and a one-way ANOVA test according to the mean scores of 286 teachers' responses provided according to the scales were used in analyzing the data.The research results and their discussion. During the study, it was found that the differences in the total scores obtained by study participants on the Individual Innovativeness Scale do not have statistically significant differences taking into account the gender variable. However, statistically significant differences were found according to different discipline areas, which was in favor of physical education and music teachers.Significant differences were also observed depending on the age variable among the study participants. Teachers in the 20-25 age group showed higher levels of individual indicators of innovativeness. In addition, significant differences were found according to length of service. Teachers with 21 or more years of experience showed significantly higher scores than their colleagues with less than 5 years of experience. It is important to note that there was also a difference according to the economic status of the participants. Teachers with lower economic status showed higher scores than teachers with average economic status.Conclusion. As a result of the analysis, it was revealed that the average indicators of the individual innovative level of teachers participating in the study are at a positive level. In addition, it was found that the indicators of the individual innovative level of teachers do not differ significantly according to the gender variable, but there are significant differences depending on the variables of experience, age, different areas of disciplines and economic status.
